Upcoming Deadlines

Concert 1:

  • Fri. June 6, 2025 – Concert 1: Deadline to submit your makeup/alternative rehearsal plan for approval by LAYP if you have scheduling conflicts (see details under “Rehearsal Schedule”).
  • Sun. June 8, 2025 – Concert 1: Deadline to upload a photo of your formal concert dress via the Dropbox link (see details under the “Dress Code” menu).
  • Sun. June 15, 2025 – Concert 1: Deadline to submit your makeup practice video.

Concert 2:

  • Mon. June 30, 2025 – Concert 2: Deadline to upload a photo of your formal concert dress via the Dropbox link (see details under the “Dress Code” menu).
  • Tues. July 1, 2025 – Concert 2: Deadline to submit your makeup/alternative rehearsal plan for approval by LAY if you have scheduling conflicts (see details under “Rehearsal Schedule“).

Concert 3:

  • Wed. July 30, 2025 – Concert 3: Deadline to upload a photo of your formal concert dress via the Dropbox link (see details under the “Dress Code” menu).
  • Sun. Aug. 3, 2025 – Concert 3: Deadline to submit your makeup practice video.

Notes: Practice video submission is required only for students who have time conflicts with rehearsals. If you are able to attend all rehearsals, you do not need to submit any practice videos.

  • A pizza meal will be provided during the break for Rehearsals 1, 2, 3, and the Tutti Rehearsal. If you don’t prefer pizza, you may bring your own brown-bag meal. For the Dress Rehearsal, food will not be provided. Please refer to the “Event Day FAQ.”
  • Each conductor will plan the rehearsals within the scheduled time frame. Detailed plans will be announced at each rehearsal.

🎵Music Stand

  • Please get a high-quality music stand.
  • Click the links to purchase online Manhasset Voyager Music Stand or Wenger music stand 
  • Since we often find that orchestral parts or method books may fall when using a foldable simple music stand, it is recommended to use a high-quality music stand instead.
  • Rehearsals: Bring your own music stand for in-person rehearsals.
  • Concerts: You do NOT need to bring a music stand on concert day.
