Full Message:
Dear Honored Performers, Parents, Families, and Musical Community of the LAYP Orchestra, Band, and Choir,
Congratulations once again on your child’s selection as a performer for the 2025 Music Festival LA Summer Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall. Your entire family should be very proud of this accomplishment. We look forward to welcoming you to Disney Hall on Sat. June 21, Sat. July 26, and to Zipper Hall on Sun. Aug. 10, 2025.
Non-profit organizations like ours rely on generous contributions from donors, and we are no exception. We are here to help student musicians and music lovers to experience the highest quality performing arts. I believe that Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of the most incredible venues in the whole world. It still feels like a dream, but this dream is on the verge of becoming a reality.
I firmly believe in the transformative power of music to make our lives more beautiful: Music has the extraordinary power to uplift spirits, touch hearts, and bring people together in ways that no other art form can. Our honored student performers pour their hearts and souls into perfecting their techniques, spending countless hours in rehearsals and practice sessions. The concert will be a culmination of their engagement.
I pray that all our lives, which God has graciously given us, and the lives of the engaged student musicians and music-lovers, may be enriched by this experience of the performing arts at the world-renowned venue, Walt Disney Concert Hall. This enrichment goes beyond just adding it to their resume of extracurricular activities; it also brings them joy from the fine arts themselves.
I eagerly look forward to seeing your child and families again as honored performers and positive members of the audience at Walt Disney Concert Hall as we continue to develop this summer concert project.
As the concert day approaches and our rehearsals are in progress, I would like to ask for your support in making our concert more meaningful and continuing to provide them with exceptional opportunities.
1. Three-Day Donation Drive
I understand that your commitment to your child’s musical journey is already significant. However, I kindly ask you to consider making a donation that suits your means. Any amount will contribute to the success of our summer concert and, more importantly, to the success of our students. Our orchestra, band, and choir thrive on stage, where they captivate audiences with their remarkable performances.
The recognition and thanks page of last year’s program reminds me of grateful, unforgettable moments, and I would like to share my warm heart from the page with you.
I kindly request you to consider supporting our summer concert project by putting your child name here on a new blank thank-you page.

We are grateful for these grants; however, they only cover partial portions of this extensive summer project. We kindly request you to fill the empty page with the names of your beloved children.
